TESTIMONY
Velocity Racing dominated the AMA/Prostar Pingel Thunder Nationals from Indianapolis IN, Aug 21st-22nd, leaving with the Street Bike Shootout win, runner-up, and a new ET and speed record.
Team leader Barry Henson headlined the dominance by recording an unprecedented street bike elapsed-time with a jaw-dropping 7.29. It was all in the 330, Henson said. I felt it the minute it left. We got it to come off the line with a 1.26 short time. I could tell right away it was going to be a great pass.
Throughout the weekend Henson also became the first Shootout rider to eclipse the much sought after 200 mph mark. The 200 mph barrier is something I’ve been aiming for, Henson said.To be the first to break it means an awful lot to me. Hensons rapid pass propelled him past Kawasaki-backed rival Rickey Gadson. If ever was a time I needed 200 mph it was then".
JUST A HISTORY NOTE
In the weeks after winning the US Nationals in Indy, Barry Henson went on to set the MPH record in the MIRROCK Series Outlaw Class. Barry finsihed the year 2005 winning the AMA Prostar Street Bike Shootout Champonship. We are very pleased to have shifted Barry all the way to 3 championships in 3 years. After we congratulated Barry on his history making season,Barry responded with Doug, I am a true believer in, If it works, don't fix it. I still use them because they work very well. I will only use the best products I can get. Keep them coming,Barry "
